The IIDA Oregon Chapter Board is made up of several committees, each focused on supporting our members and advancing our mission in different ways. Please note: Current board members may choose to continue for an additional term, so available roles will vary annually based on returning leadership and chapter needs.
Finance
Oversees and guides the chapter’s financial health, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
Sponsorship
A foundational team responsible for sponsor outreach, relationship management, and ongoing partner support.
Communications
Leads the chapter’s voice and visibility, including website content, social media, and the weekly newsletter.
Membership
Focuses on member engagement and experience, including social events and serving as a resource for membership-related questions.
Student Affairs
Supports students and emerging professionals through outreach, programming, and partnerships with local schools.
Professional Development
Creates opportunities for learning and growth through events such as Forums and other events.
Social Justice
Advances initiatives and resources centered on diversity, equity, inclusion, and justice within our chapter and the broader design community.
Term Lengths
- VP positions: 2-year terms
- Director positions: 1-year terms
