Bluegrass Theatre Guild proudly announces auditions for our upcoming production, A GOOD OLD-FASHIONED BIG FAMILY CHRISTMAS, directed by Austin Vahle!

PRODUCTION DATES:

A Good Old-Fashioned Big Family Christmas will run December 5-8, 2024 at The Grand Theatre in Frankfort, KY.

REHEARSALS:
A Good Old Fashioned Big Family Christmas will begin rehearsals on or around, October 7- November 27th. Technical rehearsals for this production will be December 1-4, 2024. No absences are permitted during technical rehearsals. If you have any questions regarding the rehearsal calendar please contact Austin at the contact information listed below.

ABOUT AUDITIONS:
For this casting call, the creative team will only be accepting video audition submissions. Auditionees are expected to submit a video audition by Friday, October 4th at 5:00pm EST. This video should include a slate (name, pronouns, and introduce the monologue you are presenting). Upon receipt of your audition form, you will receive an audition drive where you will upload: a HEADSHOT, MONOLOGUE, AND A RESUME. If you have any questions submitting any of these materials, please let us know.

CALLBACKS:

If callbacks are deemed necessary to make final casting decisions, callbacks will be conducted in person at the Thorn Hill Education Center on either Monday, October 7th or Tuesday, October 8th. Information regarding callbacks will be received via email by Sunday, October 6th at 1:00pm EST.

CASTING:

All auditions are open to the public. No roles have been pre-cast. Bluegrass Theatre Guild and the Creative Team of The Good Old-Fashioned Big Family Christmas welcomes all artists to audition for this production.
