Workshop: Social Impact of AI presented by Prospective AI
This workshop will be held starting at 3:00 PM in the Clements High School Library on Thursday, December 9th, 2021. It is currently only open to high schoolers.

Prospective AI is fiscally sponsored by a 501(c)(3) and is dedicated to informing students of the uses and impacts of artificial intelligence in modern society.

At this event, we will be hosting a free workshop for high schoolers, and we will be going over important concepts about the field of Artificial Intelligence. This particular workshop will cover the social impacts of AI, through application activities and an industry expert guest speaker, Dr. Jody Porrazzo.

In our workshop:
- We will be hosting a virtual expert guest speaker (Dr. Jody Porrazzo) with an interactive question and answer session to place students in conversation with a pioneering representative of the field.
- We will run activities for students to do in order to think critically about the way AI and technology affects them.
- We will potentially be serving individually packaged snacks, such as chips/cookies to the attendees.
