Responsibilities: • This person will work closely with the Director of Marketing.• This person will keep social media updated regularly to include pre-event and community event information, as well as relevant dancer information and updates. • This person will design and produce social media campaigns; including highlighting of sponsors.• This person will work with the Dancer Relations Chair to create and edit the recruitment video as well as any other promotional videos that can be used for marketing and recruitment purposes.
Requirements and Skills: • Must be a registered, full-time FGCU student taking 9 credit hours at the undergraduate or graduate level.• Must currently have a minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA in Spring of 2017 and throughout the 2017-2018 academic year. • Be in good academic and disciplinary standing.• Must be able to commit to this role for the entire year, including fall, spring, and until the next DM Executive Board and Chairpersons are selected. • Must not be studying abroad during fall or spring semesters.• Must have some knowledge of web applications and design. • Must be able to work in a team and have the ability to multi-task.• Must be innovative and have a desire to create fun videos, improve the DM website, and make all of our tech as user friendly as possible. • Must have extensive knowledge on the three major social media platforms, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. • Must be FTK!
