3rd Grade Physical Education Week 1 - (4/6-4/12)
Hello third grade students. I hope all is well with you during these uncertain times. I want you to know that I miss seeing you for Phy. Ed. classes and think about you often. I want to encourage you to include some physical activity into your daily routine. When possible get up and move your body for 30 to 60 minutes each day. This can be done indoors or outdoors. If you are indoors think of some of the movements we do during our squad warm ups during gym class, or maybe watch a movement video. I hope to send you some video options later. As for outdoors, the number of options are endless. Especially now that the weather is getting nicer and the day light is longer. You can walk, ride your bike, jump rope, play soccer, etc. Be creative and find new ways to raise your heart rate, strengthen your muscles and stretch your muscles. Below you will see an activity log to keep track of the amount of activity you do each day. You can also tell me what type of activity you did and what the benefits for your body were. Be sure to read and fill out the entire form and then click submit at the bottom.
