GN Bank 2019 Scholarship Form
GN Bank is pleased to support the educational efforts of those interested in careers in Business and STEM. The scholarships will be in the amount of $1,500 and awarded to TWO deserving students. The GN Bank scholarship is intended to be offered annually, but GN Bank reserves the right to suspend or modify the scholarship at any time.
Eligibility for Scholarship:
Students must be enrolled in a college or university and must be interested in a career related to Business or STEM.
This scholarship program is for seniors who graduated high school in the year 2019.

Candidates must have good academic standing, at least a C average GPA

Students must be residents of the following Neighborhoods:
Douglas, Oakland, Grand Boulevard, Kenwood, Washington Park, Hyde Park, Woodlawn, South Shore, Chatham, Avalon Park, South Chicago, Calumet Heights, Roseland, West Englewood, Englewood, Great Grand Crossing, Auburn, Wabash Heights.

Recipients must agree to allow the use of their name and or photograph for publicity. If a minor, parents or guardian(s) must approve the use of the minor’s name and photograph.

Student to provide address and college confirmation verification.

The student must attend an event organized in Chicago by GN Bank to receive the award.

The student to follow GN Bank on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, or Linkedin.

High School Transcript to verify GPA.
Selection Criteria
GN Bank reserves the right to select applicants based on a broad range of criteria including but not limited to scholastic/academic achievement, anticipated field of study, community involvement, participation in social media, candidate’s application.

Awards will be made payable to the institution the applicant is attending. It is the responsibility of the recipient to provide the contact information and dates for payment in a timely manner to GN Bank. Payment information must be received by GN Bank at least three weeks prior to any payment deadlines. Failure to provide this information will delay or prevent payment of the scholarship to the academic institution.
