RESULTS: You were right ... they did it! Out of 110 responses to our poll, more than 93% predicted that Konawaena would crush it in the semi-finals and make it to the championship. The Wildcats beat visiting Aiea 20-17 on a last-second 20-yard field goal. Then they headed to Oahu for the Division I state championship game against Waipahu at Mililani, which they won 38-28. Congratulations, varsity players, for taking your team and your school all the way to a Division I state championship title -- the first in Konawaena history.
