Serve with Rural Action on MLK Day!
Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Rural Action for Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, January 21, 2019. Each year, AmeriCorps members and community volunteers from around the nation take time to honor the spirit and the dreams of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Thanks to generous sponsorship from ServeOhio, Ohio Stream Restore Corps AmeriCorps members have organized a day full of reflection, eating in community, and service for the region.

Please let us know you will be attending, if you will be eating lunch with us (provided), and what activity you are most interested in.

Agenda for the day:
10:30 a.m. - Meet at Galbreath Chapel for silent march with OU
11:00 a.m. - Walk back up to UCM
11:30 a.m - Lunch at UCM
12:00 p.m. - Service projects (see below)
2:00 p.m. - Appreciations and closing

Remember to bring any supplies you want to donate, a bicycle if you want to ride (Kindness Rocks), and a non-perishable food item for UCM's free meal. You can also make and bring a social justice sign for the silent march.
