Terrell Middle School 's 2019-2020 Smart Goals
SMART Goal #1: The percent of student reading on grade level as measured by the beginning and end of the year STAR Reading report will increase by 3% by the end of the 2019-2020 school year.

SMART Goal #2: TMS will decrease the number of students performing at level 1 by 3%, will increase the number of students performing at level 2 and level 3 by 3%, and will increase the number of students performing at level 4 by 1% as measured by the Georgia Milestone Spring Assessment.

SMART Goal #3: TMS will decrease the number of classroom ODR’s by 3% for grade 6-8 as measured by the end of the 2019-2020 school year SWIS data report.

SMART Goal #4: TMS will decrease the number of student with disabilities performing at level 1 on all subjects as measured by the 2019 Spring Georgia Milestone Assessment.

Our school is required to set aside a percentage of the Title I money we receive for parent and family engagement activities to actively engage parents in the academic achievement of their children. In the past, money has been spent to provide the school with a family engagement coordinator position and to fund the parent resource center.
