(1) Who is an LPM Volunteer in SIBKL?
An LPM Volunteer is a group comprising of either a (1) Cell Group, (2) group(s) within a Ministry or (3) Zone in SIBKL that has volunteered to take over a Relief Service Weekend at a Local Church.
(2) What is a Local Church?
A Local Church comprises of less than 100 members across West Malaysia headed by a Local Pastor.
(3) I do not belong to any Cell Group/Ministry in SIBKL. Can I volunteer?
No, preferably that you go with a cell group or ministry.
(4) I attend SIBKL as a visitor. Can I volunteer?
No.
(5) How much notice will the LPM Volunteer be given to conduct the Relief Weekend Service?
2 month’s notice.
(6) What do I have to do at the Relief Weekend Service?
Worship, Sharing/Sermon, Children ministry (?), Youth ministry (?).
(7) Will training be provided for the LPM Volunteer before the Relief Weekend Service?
No training will be provided.
(8) What is the ideal LPM Volunteer group size?
10 or less.
(9) Can the LPM Volunteer bless the Local church monetarily?
Preferably no.
(10) What should I do at the Relief Weekend service?
- Check with the local church whether they are spirit-filled
- Respect the local culture & belief
- Do not impose your strong views
- Do not deal with politics/no racial talks
