Fluvial Sync - Call for Applications: Advanced Program in Music Synchronization
Fluvial invites you to be part of our Advanced Program in Music Synchronization. This program aims to introduce music catalogs to international Music Supervisors and other potential buyers, fostering music exports and generating new business opportunities by getting the training needed to become reliable sources of music and information.
The program will feature progressive training modules led by international expert Patricia Carrera joined by various key players from the music and audiovisual industries, who will share their knowledge from diverse perspectives, including legal, administrative, technical, logistical, economic issues, and marketing.
This program will run between October 7 and December 13 of this year, featuring both online and in-person activities. Participants can take part in either or both formats.

Aimed at:
A) Institutions and representative entities of the music industry (PROs, export offices, associations, representation offices, etc.), who may register their representatives, each of whom may participate with 10 songs.
B) Music catalogs, record labels, and/or publishers, and sync agencies, each of whom may participate with 10 songs.
C) Independent artists, producers, and composers, each of whom may participate with 10 songs.

The call for applications will be open from August 1 to September 26, and will be limited to a maximum of 80 participants who will be able to join the different stages of the program based on their evaluation and progressive fulfillment of certain requirements. Ultimately, only 12 participants will have the opportunity to participate in the listening session, business rounds, and networking sessions, which will be held both virtually and in person.
Here are the basic evaluation requirements per stage:
- 100% punctual attendance at all scheduled sessions.
- Active participation during sessions.
- 100% correct and on-time submission of all assignments.
- High musical production values.

Program Structure
STAGE 1 - Online
Training: Two 90-minute sessions to deepen your knowledge of regulatory agreements on copyright and related rights, protection and registration (obtaining identification numbers), and information, file, and metadata management. A specialized, in-depth course that can become a solid foundation for building your business model.

STAGE 2 - Online
Mentorships: Three sessions (one per week) with an expert music supervisor or sync agent who will allow you to delve deeper into your training and start building valuable relationships.

STAGE 3 - Online and In-Person at Fluvial 2025
Training: Two online sessions to prepare written and spoken music and information presentations, leading up to Stage 3.
Each of the following activities will have two components: a virtual one for remote participants and an in-person component in Valdivia, during Fluvial 2025.
Networking Session: A session where supervisors and buyers introduce themselves, share their current music needs, and answer questions from participants, fostering an open and relaxed dialogue.
Listening Session: A session where participants can confidently present their music.
Business Rounds: Fast-paced, one-on-one meetings where participants can delve deeper into their catalogs and services, strengthening their relationships with supervisors and other buyers.

Costs
Free registration if you are an artist officially participating in Fluvial.
For all other participants:
A) Institutions: $1,000 USD up to three representatives / $300 USD for each additional representative.
B) Catalogs: $500 USD
C) Independents: $250 USD
All amounts are gross, before applicable taxes. An invoice is available upon express request..

Important Notes
- Registration doesn't guarantee participation in all stages; each stage is subject to evaluation and fulfillment of the outlined requirements.
- If you advance to Stage 3 and can attend Fluvial in person, registration includes one professional accreditation.
- Registration does not cover any travel expenses.

She collaborates closely with music producer Phil Vinall and manages affairs for artists such as Beto Cuevas, Ely Guerra, Enjambre, and Pato Machete, among others.
Her expertise also extends to her contributions to workshops, panels, and educational programs she's developed in various countries, including Colombia, Chile, Poland, Canada, Spain, and Mexico. There, she has shared her knowledge while keeping a keen ear attuned to industry innovations and trends.
