The Baltimore Digital Equity Coalition (BDEC) is a collaborative of community-based
organizations and public/private entities invested in closing the digital
divide in Baltimore – and across the State. We hold bi-monthly, virtual
meetings to connect our local community to:
1. Share resources, trainings, and events;
2. Establish and maintain partnerships;
3. Develop and gain knowledge of best practices; and
4. Increase awareness and promote digital inclusion, including access to affordable
devices, Internet connectivity, and digital skills training efforts.
As part of our continued coalition building activities, we host events throughout the year,
including our annual Maryland Digital Equity Day. Organizations that choose to
join BDEC will be recognized on our website. While you can join our mailing
list without being a member, we encourage organizations that support digital
equity to join us as a member to amplify voices on this 21st Century
civil rights issue.
