Harbours Gate | Resource Coordinator
Harbours Gate is seeking applicants for a Resource Coordinator to assist with a diverse list of tasks to further the Harbours Gate mission.
Harbours Gate is a 501(c) 3 non profit focused on "bringing back the village". Located in the heart of the Mentor Community we strive to be a resource for those who are facing hard times and need a second chance. Adults and Children alike, we understand the need for a strong support system to help people find light in dark times. With resources for drug addiction and prevention, financial hardship, mental and physical health problems, the fallout of unfortunate circumstances and/or bad choices, legal issues, and more. Harbours Gate is here to help assist, not as an enabler, but as a mentor to walk people through these hard times and develop the skills and relationships to get individuals on a path to success. We take pride in being the shoulder to lean on or the family support system many do not have.
We are actively seeking someone who is:
Good with time management.
Able to pivot and handle a very diverse workload.
Capable of coordinating / recruiting volunteers for Harbours Gate events.
Has a heart for non profit work and is dedicated to inclusivity including but not limited to: All religions, all sexual orientations, all race and ethnicities, all political affiliations, all backgrounds and all walks of life without prejudice or pushing a personal agenda.
This job is a paid part time position averaging 20 hours a week on a 6 month term with potential for an extended contract.
Job Duties Include:
Being involved with adult and youth programs.
Recruiting Volunteers for the programs.
Promote fundraising events.
Clerical duties and site upkeep.
Misc duties as needed.
Bi Lingual | Spanish a huge plus!
Rate of Pay based on experience. $10/hr to $15/hr
