**These events will be held virtually on Wonder.**
Lesson Planning Workshop:
Learn how to translate your research into K-12 STEM Lesson Plans for Georgia Educators. At the planning workshop, you will be presented on Lesson Planning from a current UGA doctoral student who is also a science educator. During the workshop, scientists will work with local educators via a panel, from Athens-Clarke County, to develop their ideas and lesson plans.
Lesson Planning Office Hours:
You can register for an hour-long workshop session to work one-on-one with an educator to help build your lesson plans and get immediate feedback.
Networking Event:
At this event researchers provide educators with K-12 classroom ready lesson plans, which are based on their current work and adhere to state and national educational standards. Additionally, SciREN gives you, the researcher and educators opportunities to arrange classroom visits and to collaborate on curriculum development.
T-Shirts:
Researchers who submit a Lesson Plan will receive the free 2022 SciREN T-shirt!
