As an inducement for you to allow me to participate in connection with one or more auditions, classes, rehearsals, intensives, performances, or events in association with and/or for participation in TheSpace_LA and/or productions produced by TheSpace_LA and/or participation in any third party event that is held on the premises of Diavolo Architecture In Motion and/or any other premise TheSpace_LA may hold a class or event at, I hereby agree to release from any and all claims, causes of action, losses, liabilities, costs, damages, and injuries (collectively “Claims”) arising in any manner, directly or indirectly from, or in connection with, my participation in any production, rehearsal, class, intensive, performance, or event on your property, and I agree to indemnify you any and all Claims which may be brought by any third party on my behalf. To this end, I hereby waive all rights under California Civil Code Section 1542 and any similar rights under any similar federal, state, or local statute, rule, or regulation. Section 1542 provides as follows:

“A general release does not extend to claims which the creditor does not know or suspect to exist in his favor at the time of executing the release, which if known by him must have materially affected his settlement with the debtor.”

I hereby grant permission to TheSpace_LA and its representatives to take photographs or videos of me at auditions, classes, intensives, performances, or events. 

I further grant to TheSpace_LA and its representatives the right to reproduce, use, exhibit, display, broadcast and distribute and create derivative works of these images and recordings in any media now known or later developed as well as my name for promoting, publicizing or explaining TheSpace_LA and its activities and for administrative, educational or research purposes. I acknowledge that TheSpace_LA owns all rights to the images and recordings.

Waiver, Indemnity and Release
I hereby waive any right to inspect or approve the use of the images or recordings or of any written copy. I further waive all moral rights. I also waive any right to royalties or other compensation arising from or related to the use of the images, recordings, or materials.

I hereby release, defend, indemnify and hold harmless TheSpace_LA or its representatives, from and against any claims, damages or liability arising from or related to the use of the images, recordings or materials, including but not limited to claims of defamation, invasion of privacy, or rights of publicity or copyright infringement, or any misuse, distortion, blurring, alteration, optical illusion or use in composite form that may occur or be produced in taking, processing, reduction or production of the finished product, its publication or distribution.
