REGISTER: 5k Your Way, Move Against Cancer
We are a support group with a difference, a run and walking club with a difference,  a social opportunity with a difference, a coffee morning with a difference.
5k Your Way, Move Against Cancer is a community-based initiative aiming to encourage those living with and beyond cancer, families, friends and those working in cancer services to walk, jog, run, cheer or volunteer at a local 5k Your Way parkrun event on the last Saturday of every month.
This initiative was founded by Gemma Hillier-Moses Founder of MOVE charity who was diagnosed with cancer herself at the age of 24 in 2012  and Lucy Gossage Oncologist  in Nottingham and 12 times Ironman Champion.

Our events take place on the last Saturday of every month at various parkrun locations around the UK and Ireland . Before taking part in your first 5k Your Way with us we would like you to fill out the below form so we can collect important information about our community and by doing so help us to help other people like you.

We also need everyone to register with parkrun before you attend. Here you will get a barcode which you will need to print out and bring this with you. parkrun can then give you a time and position at the end of every event.

Terms and Conditions:
All parkrun and  5k Your Way, Move Against Cancer groups are free to participants and are run by ambassadors and volunteers. Running and walking is a physically active sport. You should always seek advice from your doctor before taking up a strenuous physical pursuit such as this. By filling out this registration form you accept that  you take part  entirely at your own risk. You also accept  responsibility to ensure you are fit enough to take part in the event.  Please note that 5k Your Way, Move Against Cancer is a non medical initiative and our ambassadors cannot take responsibility for providing specialist advice or care. Whilst most 5k parkrun events have defibrillators, parkrun events and 5k Your Way groups cannot take responsibility for providing specialist care and no patient data will or should be shared with any parkrun event. Children under the age of 11 years old are the responsibility of their parents or guardians and need to be accompanied at all times before, during and after the run.

5k Your Way, Move Against Cancer and its ambassadors do not accept responsibility for injury, loss and damage sustained by a participant unless the above injury, loss and damage is proven to have been caused as a direct result of negligence on the part of the organisers.

Thank you for taking your time to do this and we look forward to seeing you at our events.
