RSVP for BAY-Peace Drop the MIC Focus Groups
BAY-Peace is hosting focus groups to develop a deeper understanding about how Bay Area youth are experiencing violence related to militarization. Both focus groups will be hosted at the BAY-Peace office 610 16th St #322 Oakland, CA in Downtown, two blocks away from 12th St BART. Dates are below.

Have you or your friends ever been wrongfully suspended or expelled, sent home from school or treated violently (culturally, physically or emotionally) by school police, security or staff? Do you see recruiters too often at your school? Have recruiters tried to sell you the American Dream by inviting you to join the military? Join our focus group on police presence and recruitment in schools.

Through these focus groups, we hope to learn how militarization impacts our community so we can respond and take action based on the needs of Bay Area youth. Please fill out this form to secure your spot. All participants will remain anonymous and receive a Visa gift card for their time. Lunch will be provided. Upon completion of this form, BAY-Peace will send you a consent form which MUST be completed to participate. Minors can also have their parents sign consent forms upon arrival. Questions? Please contact chay@baypeace.org for more information.

We look forward to hearing from you!
