WMC is looking for your dedication to mathematics education by becoming a member of one of our several working committees. Committees typically meet at least two times per year. Please let us know what committee you are interested in supporting and a committee liaison will be contacting you shortly.

WMEF: The Wisconsin Mathematics Education Foundation helps support teachers and students in Wisconsin. • Be part of fundraising and awarding scholarships and grants as a board member or a sub-committee member.

Social Media: Develop and support the WMC social media campaign by supporting teachers in these digital environments.

Website: Support the development of the WMC website as a mathematics education resource hub for teachers.

Journal: Be a part of the editorial panel that reviews and publishes articles designed to move mathematics education in Wisconsin forward.

Professional Learning: Help guide the professional development opportunities of Wisconsin teachers focused on equity-based practices.

Conference Planning: If you have attended either the Fall/Winter Mathematics Proficiency for Every Student conference or the Annual Conference at Green Lake, why not become part of the planning committees for one of these outstanding conferences.

Advocacy & Leadership:  Are you interested in creating a Wisconsin message for relevant topics in mathematics education?  If so, this is the committee for you!

Membership and Marketing: Help WMC grow through membership initiatives that support our mission to lead in the development and promotion of quality mathematics education that enhances learning for all students.
