UW CDO is a registered student organization on the UW campus dedicated to organizing career and professional development opportunities by and for physics and astronomy graduate students. Since its inception, UW CDO has hosted over a dozen Networking Days events, bringing in employers from across the US to explore the talent available in the UW Physics and Astronomy graduate program.
The first day (Friday November 30th) will run from late afternoon to evening and will include student research talks and a student poster/networking session with drinks and light hors d'oeuvres. The second day (Saturday December 1st) will run from the morning to the mid-afternoon, and will include a light breakfast, employer panel sessions, employer presentations, and a lunch. Depending on interest, lab tours may also be scheduled.
Networking Days Sponsorship - $500• Registration for two representatives• Feature on the event website and in the event program• Dedicated table for your representatives during networking events• Seat on Saturday’s employer panels• Time slot for Saturday’s sponsor presentations• Student CV's provided one week prior to event
If you cannot provide a sponsorship but would still like to attend, employer registration is $100/person. This includes a highlight in the event program, company introduction, and access to all programming including student and employer talks, the poster and networking session, and all meals and refreshments.
