BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE PROJECT
Director Ti Ames brings their creativity, magnanimous spirit, and fresh perspective to the works of William Shakespeare! Young actors will work with Ti to choose, rehearse, and stage scenes and monologues they love, and which come together to create a harmonious, hilarious, and thought-provoking evening with the Bard. Build community, have fun with friends new and old, and even learn a little something in the process!
Participation in Teen-ish Theater Workshop programming is FREE!
CAST BREAKDOWN
15-20 actors aged 10 to 15.
We encourage everyone to audition and participate. It will be most fun and truthful if we have a nice mix of actors of different backgrounds, ages, gender identities, and ethnicities.
At auditions we will get to know each other, play games, and do some short cold readings from the works of Shakespeare. Please indicate your audition day availability and preference below. Education Director Miller Susen will be in touch by Monday, February 10th, 2020 to schedule your day. Email her at
miller@livearts.org with questions and for more information about the project.
THESE AUDITIONS ARE NOW CLOSED! THANK YOU SO MUCH TO ALL FOR SUCH A POSITIVE AND OVERWHELMING RESPONSE!
