On the day, volunteers will help out with exhibits, direct visitors, help set up and take down the displays and generally create an enthusiastic atmosphere. Volunteers will be rotated around different jobs through the day. You will receive information before the day and an induction on the day.
We also need a few volunteers to help with distributing flyers a week or so beforehand and with setting up on the day before.

You can do a full day or just part of the day (you will be asked to specify beforehand)A few volunteers may be required for Friday 17th, for a couple of hours in the afternoon, exact time to be confirmed (you can indicate possible availability for this later on).
To make this years Science in the Park work we need volunteers to help out on the day. We need people to help guide people around the day, talk to our visitors, help out with exhibits (full training given) and generally make the day great. If you think you can help, please fill in the form below. We'll be in touch with more details nearer the time. All volunteers will also need to fill in a volunteer form from the national British Science Association before the event (we'll send you details of this too). We also won't pass on this information to anyone outside the nottsBSA.
If you are accepted as a volunteer you will be given full training. You will have a chance to see some areas of the Hall that are not normally open to the public. We will provide refreshments (although not lunch) and have a chance to look around the exhibits and meet the exhibitors. We can sign off your hours for all relevant volunteering schemes.
