Program Internship--Community Outreach: This intern will work with the program team to develop relationships with the communities of SWSG program sites. This will involve attending community events, communicating with stakeholders, and engaging parents and other community members in the SWSG program. This position may involve writing, design, public speaking, and event planning. (Graduate students are preferred, but highly-skilled Undergraduate students with experience in social work or human services will be considered).
Research & Evaluation: This intern will work with the Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning (MEL) Coordinator to collect data and evaluate the impact of SWSG. This intern will support MEL events to engage stakeholders, support data entry and analysis, and help implement mixed-methods data collection processes including: focus groups, interviews, and surveys. Experience with Excel or data analysis software is a plus but is not required. Qualitative evaluation skills including content analysis are also a plus (to interpret and analyze focus group and interview transcripts). (Graduate or Undergraduate students are eligible.)
Junior Internship: Junior internships for high school students are designed on a case-by-case basis to fit the skill-set and interests of the student.
