An award of $500 will be granted to a student with a minimum 3.0 GPA who has experience in the political sphere. Past or current experience in political work, activism, or public policy at the local, state, federal and international level will be considered. This award has been named after Ambassador Michael Novak, a supporter of The John Paul II Project and a teacher to the team.
To apply, please submit brief essay explaining your experience in the political sphere along with your study abroad application. One reference listed in your application should be able to speak to your work and character in this realm. Submission and acceptance dates follow the same timeline as the application period.
