2018 NABS Washington Seminar funding application
Thank you for expressing interest in receiving financial assistance  to attend the 2018 National Federation of the Blind's Washington Seminar.
This application is open to students who:
- Are members of the National Federation of the Blind,
- Are available to arrive in Washington DC no later than Sunday, January 28
- and depart no earlier than Tuesday evening, January 30, 2018

All students seeking financial support must understand and adhere to the below requirements:
1. Check in with President Kathryn Webster on Sunday, January 28 upon arrival at the Holiday Inn Capitol Hotel
2. Attend the NABS Winter Seminar on the morning of Monday, January 29
3. Attend the Legislative Workshop coordinated by our Government Affairs team on the afternoon of Monday, January 29
4. Attend the Great Gathering In on Monday, January 29 at 5pm
5. Volunteer to help and attend, in its entirety, the 2018 NABS Cafe that takes place on Monday, January 29
6. Attend scheduled meetings with your elected representatives on Tuesday, Wednesday, and/or Thursday (January 30-February 1, 2018) with the awareness and consent of your NFB state president
7. Write a thorough reflection on your experience during Washington Seminar. Specifications, along with a prompt, to come

Note: Financial assistance is dependent on your answers to the below questions, the input from your listed references, recommendations from your state president, and your ability to adhere to the above guidelines. Please understand that affiliates and local chapters help students attend Washington Seminar. We encourage students to use all resources, including personal financial investment when budgeting for this incredible event.
