Whether we live in Malvern or Moreland, Sussex or Shaker Square, most of us believe that strong schools build strong communities.

This fall, Shaker Schools are asking voters to help the district support the people who truly make our schools run: principals, teachers, school counselors, nurses, paraprofessionals, administrative assistants, secretaries, kitchen staff, janitors, and bus drivers.

The operating levy on the ballot will support the district's basic basic day-to-day operations such as staff salaries and benefits, computers, materials, extracurricular activities, and more.
