"Plastic Alphabet" centers on the 1960's Op Art movement, in which intricate works built from basic geometric and abstract elements create the impression of movement and vibration. This exhibition explores the relationship between these compositions and reflections on the communication of aesthetics in a technologically evolving world.
Either the MIT Shuttle or EZ Ride will drop you at the Amherst/Wadsworth stop on the Sloan School campus. Then walk east along Memorial Drive until you arrive at E60. The reception is in E60-315.
Sponsored by the MIT List Visual Arts Center and the Graduate Student Life Grants.
