“Active citizenship and political participation of young disabled people as a pathway towards Independent Living” - Application Form
This will be a week-long study session for young disabled people in Strasbourg, France, from 24th to 30th June 2018.

The study session in June explores young disabled people's awareness about their rights concerning active citizenship and political participation, with a particular focus on social inclusion and Independent Living.

Participants will be supported to explore key aspects of leadership and empowerment, with an expectation that they will return to their communities and support other young disabled people's awareness and access to political participation and human rights. The Study Session will work through non-formal education methods.

The Study Session will take place in English and International Sign Language or real-time captioning (if required).

It is for people between the age of 18 and 35, from the Council of Europe Member States who consider themselves as disabled persons.

Regardless of type of impairment, sexual orientation, religion, level of education or any other personal characteristics, ENIL is committed to supporting diversity of participants and encourages all young disabled people to apply.
