Seguimos Creando Enlaces Proposals 2020
Seguimos Creando Enlaces fosters community connections and cultural diversity in public, academic, and special libraries. This annual conference welcomes library workers from both sides of the California-Mexico border to share best practices and work towards more inclusive library spaces for all.

The Call for Proposals for the 9th Annual Seguimos Creando Enlaces Conference is now open. This year’s conference theme is Civic Engagement in Action. The conference committee welcomes presentations that demonstrate how public, academic, and special libraries support civic engagement and social change. We encourage submissions that highlight civic engagement initiatives among Latinx, Spanish-speaking, immigrant or refugee communities. Submissions are due Monday, March 16, 2020. Please read instructions below.

For additional information, please refer back to the website proposals page: http://creandoenlaces.org/proposals/

This conference is presented by the SERRA Library Cooperative with support from the Southern California Library Cooperative. The conference committee looks forward to reviewing your proposals! If you have any questions or need guidance, please contact Missy Solis: melissa.solis@sdcounty.ca.gov
