This survey delves into metrics deemed to be most critical for evaluation of the Joint Effort for Data assimilation Integration (JEDI) output.  We are trying to understand which verification and diagnostic capabilities are needed to be included in the enhanced Model Evaluation Tools (METplus) for the Unified Forecast System (UFS).
