RuralRise Summit Quick Pitch Proposal
The RuralRise Summit Planning Committee invites you to submit a quick pitch proposal for the 2020 RuralRISE Virtual Summit. This year’s event will continue the tradition of quick pitch talks to provide an opportunity to learn about a lot of successful rural entrepreneurship ecosystem builder projects in a short amount of time.
HOWEVER, because we are going virtual you can be creative with your pitch. You can feature a video, slides or you speaking, but please keep the time to 5 minutes max.
What is a Quick Pitch talk?
It is a crisp, brief, 5-slide/video and 5-minute overview of a program or project that is scalable, repeatable and has been successful in building rural entrepreneurial ecosystems thru small business, community or economic development assistance.
The Goal: We want to expose attendees to as many working rural entrepreneurship models as possible in order to highlight projects that other rural communities can use and leverage. Ideally, projects are low cost, sustainable, and are particularly well suited to rural communities.
The RuralRISE Summit Planning Committee will review all proposals and select Quick Pitch speakers based on content, relevance, and balance.
How successful talks work: Get to the point! Keep it brief! Time it.
Our goal is to provide a synopsis, a Cliff-Notes version of your project.
We will select quick pitches for our the summit as well as placement on the RuralRISE and Summit Website - we will also include links to your program, etc.
PLEASE NOTE: We will be posting all presentations on the RuralRISE website after the summit. BY presenting you agree to allow us to post your presentation.
