FIRST OPEN SESSION: FRIDAY, JANUARY 24 at 1:00 PM at the ASTERISK, Kingston

Join us at the Asterisk for the first session of Level Up! We will come together to talk about our work, to identify goals and challenges, and to discuss what support we need. You can also ask questions and guide the development of the closed Level Up cohort beginning soon!

Level Up is a weekly dedicated peer support and mentoring group designed for folks like you who are running their own business, starting a program or trying to make a side hustle your main hustle.

S. Leigh Thompson, Co-Creator of the Asterisk, began Level Up and ran several cohorts for years in NYC and we're excited to bring it to our local community! 

Working for yourself is hard. There are so many paths, so many ways to trip up, and it can be very isolating. We don't have to do this alone. Level Up cohort members will learn from each other's journeys, share in the successes and strategize together how we meet the challenges together. Going it alone only gets us so far--with community we can Level Up! 

Here’s what you can expect:

  • Weekly meetings: We meet once a week to reflet on the week, set goals, celebrate wins, and tackle challenges together.
  • Small and connected: This is a small, closed cohort so members can really get to know each other and invest in the group's success.
  • Peer mentoring: A structured peer-facilitated space to support reflection, co-learning and skill sharing. We'll share and learn from each other and offer and request specific needs from the group.
  • Community accountability: Stay on track and motivated with the encouragement and guidance from fellow cohort members.
