What would I like to ask an Astronaut?
On Monday, September 18th, students at Pine River-Backus will get the opportunity to ask questions of 2 different astronauts on board the International Space Station. 20 questions will be selected by the In-Flight Downlink Team. If your question is chosen, you will have the opportunity to speak to the astronaut during the 20 minute live broadcast from the International Space Station. Depending on time, all 20 questions may not be asked, but each of the selected students will receive a commemorative gift to remember this opportunity. (Selected submissions will be notified by September 8th)

Please think about what you would like to ask an astronaut and submit 1 question below. Before deciding on your question you might want to research the two astronauts Randy Bresnik and Mark Vande Hei. Links to their biographies are on the district website (www.prbschools.org). Helpful tip: Try to ask a question that can not be answered easily from the Internet. Example of a question that can be answered from the Internet - How fast is the space station moving?
Good Luck!
