Food Bank - Volunteers work inside Good Cheer Food Bank at 2812 Grimm Road. Shoppers are assigned monthly points based on the number of people in their household. Volunteers greet shoppers, check them in to let them know their remaining points, and check them out to total up the points for the shopping trip. Additional volunteers help our staff behind the scenes to keep the food bank stocked.

Food Bank: Drivers & Ride Along Helpers —
Drivers operate our box truck and travel to warehouses/grocery stores where we receive a large amount of food donations. Ride along helpers load and unload donations, which may require lifting up to 50 pounds. 
On-island Routes: Which mornings are you available? (Sun, Mon, Wed, Fri)
Food Bank: Community Connections Program Navigator
Our Community Connections desk inside the lobby of the food bank offers a place where people facing challenges beyond food security can get help. For example, we work to connect people with housing resources, utility program savings, and more.

Garden — We have a .5 acre garden onsite at the Food Bank at 2812 Grimm Road, as well as a nearby 1 acre garden. We provide gloves, tools, and guidance.

Thrift Stores — We operate two thrift stores that are open 11 am to 5 pm Tuesdays - Saturdays. Volunteers help stock merchandise in the stores and create attractive displays.
