Under the direction of the Elijah’s Place Program Director, Volunteer Group Facilitators co-lead grief support groups for children and adults two times per month. The volunteer’s role is to present activities planned by the program director and help the children to understand how the activities relate to their grief. Volunteer facilitators must complete a 20-hour training course.

Kitchen Volunteers help create a warm environment for our families by arranging food and service items for the pre-group meal. Following the meal, Kitchen Volunteers help with clean-up and sanitization of the kitchen and meal areas.

Office volunteers serve in a variety of roles including administrative and clerical support, inventory of supplies, organization of storage areas, playground cleaning and maintenance, and other tasks.
