Components for a Cause Site Enrollment
The Range of Motion Project (ROMP) is a nonprofit organization that provides high-quality prosthetic care to people with amputation who do not have access to this human right. Our permanent clinical operations in Guatemala and Ecuador rely strongly upon components obtained through our Components for a Cause Program. In this program, partner clinics continually collect gently-used and new components in a dropbox, and then ship these components to the ROMP warehouse in Denver, where the components are sorted, entered into the ROMP inventory management system, and shipped on a regular basis to Guatemala and Ecuador. Some partner clinical opt to set up a Limb Disassembly Day as a way to gather components and bring their staff together in a meaningful service event. ROMP coordinates materials, logistics, and shipping for all partner clinics.
