End Gun Violence Sabbath - sign up!
We invite Oregon religious communities from all backgrounds and all parts of our state to join us on a single weekend, lifting our voices for a peaceful world free from gun violence.

On the weekend of November 15-17, 2019, people from diverse religious backgrounds will unite in remembering gun violence as part of their regular worship, through a sermon, a prayer, a note in the bulletin, a guest speaker, or an educational program. Join thousands of other people of faith statewide in lifting a collective voice for peace – and an end to the gun violence that leaves our communities grieving.

There are many ways you can participate, however best suits your community's needs. Get creative! For inspiration, you can also review our EGV Sabbath resource guide for sermon reflections, prayers, and background information. Just let us know you'll be joining us, by signing up here.

You can use #EndGunViolenceSabbath2019 in all your social media about the day. Tag us online and post pictures of your event so we can see all the amazing Oregonians joining us on this day!

TO SIGN ON, add your contact/congregation information so we know how many Oregonians are taking part. We will send you the EGV Sabbath resource guide once you register here. Contact us with any questions: cosa@emoregon.org.
