Summer 2024 Theater Camp Registration Form

When: Monday, July 22--Saturday, July 27

Monday - Friday (July 22-26) will run 9:00am-3:30pm. Camp will be held in the CCS music room and gym lobby and occasionally on the playground area outside

Saturday July 27th will hold an AM Dress Rehearsal and PM Performance. Location TBD

CCS is excited to offer its third Summer Theater Camp Monday, July 22nd through Saturday, July 27th! During this exciting week, students will learn skills to improve their acting, improv, diction, projection, character development, singing, and choreography. They will learn to work as a team in an ensemble and will have opportunity to work on solo or duet work as well. The camp will include learning skits, improv skills, and solos and ensemble numbers from musicals!
Audition and Participation Expectations
Who may participate: CCS and homeschool students entering the 5th-12th grade

CCS Code of Conduct: As a community, we seek to honor each other and the Lord with our thoughts, hearts, words, and actions. All participants of the CCS Summer Theater Camp will need to read and agree to CCS code of conduct which can be read, signed, and returned at the first day of camp

Participation cost and benefits: The cost to participate is $200. Participants will get a camp T-Shirt and the chance to perform in a fun summer theater variety show! The show will be FREE to attend, and will collect donations for CCS theater and a local ministry. Please contact Mr. Valenti with any questions

AUDITIONING FOR A SOLO

If interested in a solo or larger acting role, please prepare a one-minute solo song or monologue to perform the first day of camp (Monday, July 22nd). Auditions will take place in the afternoon on the first day!

12:30pm-3:30pm -- Variety Show rehearsals (rehearsing the skits, monologues, solo numbers, choreography, and ensemble numbers to be performed at the show!)
