Individuals who are interested in Board service are carefully selected and must go through an application process to be considered. Board members serve two year terms & shall not serve more than 2 consecutive terms with the same title.
Officers (President, VP, Secretary, Treasurer) are are elected by the DSASG membership every two years. A potential President must serve on the board for at least 1 year prior to serving as President. Directors (Family Support Director, Social Director, Fundraising Director, 2 Self Advocates, 2 Members at Large) are appointed by Board Officers. Individuals seeking any position on the DSASG Board of Directors must complete and submit the board member application below. Applicants must be familiar with Google Workplace or willing to learn.
