The Wole Soyinka Centre for Investigative Journalism (WSCIJ) has implemented programmes that build the capacity of journalists in Nigeria for more than a decade. However, in its sustained drive to further enhance the leadership potentials of reporters, WSCIJ is launching a capacity development programme for female reporters across newsrooms as part of its Report Women programme.
The Female Leadership Fellowship is a programme supported by Free Press Unlimited to empower female reporters with the skills, finesse, support and tools to take bold steps that help position them for the highest leadership positions in their various media houses. In addition to the overall objectives, the programme will also, mobilise a network of female reporters oriented for leadership and create a train-the-trainer team who better appreciate the importance of mainstreaming gender in news.
To contribute to the success of the programme, kindly take some time off your busy schedule to complete this survey. The Centre will collate results and share with you upon conclusion of the survey exercise.
