EPIC Sustainable Neighborhood Youth Challenge: Mentor Application
Thanks for your interest in participating as a mentor in the EPIC Sustainable Neighborhood Youth Challenge! We are seeking volunteers to assist in mentoring schools with this challenge from September through December 2018!

As a mentor with the EPIC Sustainable Neighborhood Youth Challenge, you will work with a small group of students and their teacher from a Chicago school to create a campaign to envision how carbon drawdown strategies could be implemented to make their school or neighborhood more sustainable. You will assist the team in generating their favorite idea and providing sustainability expertise along the way.

Additionally, the schools will be posting their projects to an online platform, Municipal, where you will also be helping them find ways to reach out to their communities for feedback and support via this platform. Schools participating in the Challenge will be competing against one another, and the top three projects will be featured at a recognition event in 2019.

If you are interested in working with students to envision a sustainable Chicago & engage with their neighborhoods then this is the opportunity for you!

More information about the EPIC Sustainable Neighborhood Youth Challenge is available at: https://www.epicchallenge.info/
