Personal information is important.

Inverter Service is committed to safeguarding personal privacy. It recognises that individuals have a right to control how their personal information is collected and used. Providing personal information is an act of trust and it is taken seriously. Unless given consent to do otherwise, Inverter Service will only collect and use personal information as set out below.

1. Collecting personal information.
Inverter Service collects customers name, address, product details, when we receive a request for service.

2. Using and disclosing your personal information

Personal Information will be used for the primary purpose of identifying and tracking goods throughout the receiving, repair, testing and dispatch processes.

Inverter Service will use personal information only for the purposes for which it is collected. Inverter Service does not disclose personal information to anyone except as required by law. Within Inverter Service, we restrict access to only those in Inverter Service handling the transaction and providing the services. We take reasonable care to ensure that all information is secure and prevent unauthorised access.
We regularly review and audit our information held and databases to ensure privacy is maintained.
You can request access to any information held by Inverter Service in respect of yourself. Such requests should be made to Inverter Service. You can request Inverter Service to change personal information that is inaccurate or out of date.

3. Storage and security of personal information

Inverter Service does not store credit card “Card Holder” data electronically at any of our premises. Electronic cardholder data may be received and securely transmitted to a third party service provider (“payment gateway”) for the purpose of completing the transaction.
Where credit card data is physically recorded for the purpose of providing goods or services, those details are secured and kept in strict confidence and is only accessible by authorised persons for the purpose of completing the transaction. Once the transaction is finalised, cardholder data is securely disposed of within a reasonable time in a suitable manner as required by the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS).

Inverter Service will endeavour to take all reasonable steps to keep secure any personal information recorded, and to keep this information accurate and up to date. The information is stored on secure servers if in digital format, or in locked areas if in hardcopy format: these repositories are protected in controlled facilities. Inverter Service employees and data processors are obliged to respect the confidentiality of any personal information held by Inverter Service. However, security of communications over the Internet cannot be guaranteed, and therefore absolute assurance that information will be secure at all times cannot be given. Inverter Service will not be held responsible for events arising from unauthorised access to personal information.
