Thank you for clicking and checking out our needs for both the Thistle and Flying Scot District Events. Thistle Districts will be the weekend of June 15th and 16th and Flying Scots will be June 29th and 30th. It is a lot of work to put on these events and we could use all hands on deck! Please read over the descriptions and time commitment and sign up for what you think works for you. Each job is specific to the event, so please double check you are signing up for the correct one. Breakfast for Thistle Districts
Description: Set up main serving table for  breakfast. Prepare and set up breakfast items for serving. Managing breakfast foods and replenishing items. Breakfast prep. will include putting casseroles in over, setting out coffee/juice, bagels, and yogurt. Putting out plates, utensils, napkins. All food will already be on site and in kitchen ready to go. Cleaning up after breakfast is served to competitors. Time Commitment: Saturday (6/15) from 8:30-11:00 and Sunday (6/16) 8:00-10:00.
Happy Hour Set Up for Thistle Districts
Description: Set up serving area for happy hour appetizers and beer and wine. Cooking and serving appetizers. Appetizer prep will include putting together cheese plate, chips/salsa, and cooking frozen snacks. All food will be purchased and on site in kitchen ready for prep. Put out beer coolers and wine. Cleaning up from happy hour before dinner starts. Time Commitment: Saturday (6/15) from 4:00-5:30
Serving for Dinner on Saturday for Thistle Districts
Description: Helping to serve dinner at the serving table, refilling food for serving, and helping breakdown dinner set up and serving dessert. Time Commitment: Saturday (6/15) from 6:00-7:00
Clean Up for Dinner on Saturday for Thistle Districts
Description: Helping to clean up after dinner and dessert, do dishes, store excess food, and clean kitchen. Time Commitment: Saturday (6/15) from 7:00-8:00
Lunch Prep for Sunday After Racing for Thistle Districts
Description: Set up serving table with plates and utensils for serving lunch after racing. Put out meat/cheese platters, rolls, and sandwich things. Put out any excess food from the weekend. Replace food as it runs out. All food will be on site and ready to go. Clean up when lunch is finished before awards. Time Commitment: Sunday (6/16) from 2:00-4:00
