The Mentorship Program will link new members and recent graduates with senior clinicians. A mentor will provide assistance in the transition from graduate school to beginning clinical practice, networking, discovery of resources, and integration into the Clinical Society and the professional clinical social work community. The mentor-protégé relationship will not serve as supervisory in any way but rather career focused. The mentor should be interested in the growth and development of new professionals, eager to share knowledge and expertise, and have a generally supportive role.
