Baby Dedication
Baby Dedication is a time for parents to formally and publicly dedicate their child to the Lord. We also refer to this time as "Parent Commissioning" as a reminder that parents are the chief disciple makers of their children. This will be a small ceremony on Sunday morning, October 21st, during the morning worship service. Any child is eligible for the dedication, the only requirement is that participating parents be dedicated to the Lord's work in their child's life.

Along with the ceremony, we are hosting a PRE-CEREMONY BREAKFAST on October 14th for parents who will take part in the dedication. Attendance to the breakfast on the 14th is required to be a part of the ceremony on the 21st.

I want to dedicate my child to God in the presence of the Church in order to promise my best as a Christian parent. I submit to follow Jesus in my parenting, knowing that God knows best for my child and our family. I also promise to my child and to the church that I will be faithful in my personal walk with Jesus so I may be a solid example of a Christ follower. I understand by dedicating my child to the Lord that this does not save him or her and therefore it is my chief responsibility to share the Gospel with my child on a regular basis so they can make a mature decision to follow Christ upon their maturity and understanding.
