Please join Prince George's County Council Member At-Large Calvin Hawkins, M-NCPPC Prince George's Planning Board Chairman Darryl Barnes and the M-NCPPC team, in partnership with TJC Inc., for a very special event, the 30th Anniversary of the Million Man March, a Summit on the State of Black America. Join residents, leaders, and activists from all walks of life for collaborative reflections and solutions-oriented conversations about the successes and setbacks since the original Million Man March thirty years ago and the path forward for progress in the future. Prominent figures in public office, media and entertainment, and business will come together with residents and activists in Prince George's County and from around the region to discuss the fulfilled and unfulfilled promise of the original march and the opportunities to create a new vision for success in the future amidst this time of political and social upheaval.
