The government of the FSM and the Blue Prosperity Coalition welcome your creativity in naming the Program. With your help, we can create a name that embodies the goals of the Program: to help build a more prosperous, sustainable, and abundant marine habitat for the future of the FSM.

Rules:
1. Eligibility: This contest is open to citizens and residents of the Federated States of Micronesia. Entry may be submitted as an individual or a group.
2. Name requirements: Any entry that is comprised of a copyrighted name, proper names, or inappropriate language will be disqualified.

Winning
1. Prizes: The winner of the contest will receive $2,000 cash prize and 19 runners up will receive $250/each gift certificates in local businesses. The winning entry will be selected as the FSM/BPC Program name.

2. Winner Selection and Notification: Three finalists will be selected by the Naming Contest Selection Committee and presented for final decision. Entries will be evaluated based on relativity to program, content of supporting document, and creativity.

By submitting an entry to this competition, you understand and agree that the FSM Government and the BPC shall have the right to print, publish, broadcast, distribute, and use in any media your entry, name, picture, portrait, video, text and/or statements about the campaign for any purpose related to the FSM/Blue Prosperity Coalition Project.

The FSM Government and the BPC reserve the right to modify the winning project name idea should these parties, as project leaders, find the need to.

Entries will be accepted online starting on April 27 at 8:00 am , Pohnpei time, and ending on May 29 at 11:59pm, Pohnpei time. The winning name will be announced the week of June 8th.

Hard copies may be submitted in sealed envelopes addressed to the Secretary of FSM R&D and marked “BPC Program Naming Contest” until 5:00 pm, Pohnpei time on May 29.
