Dog Disclaimer: 
We love our four-legged friends and welcome well-behaved, leashed dogs to join the Pride Walk! To ensure a safe and joyful experience for all attendees, we ask that dog owners be responsible: keep dogs on a short, non-retractable leash at all times, clean up after them, and be mindful of your pet’s comfort in crowded or noisy areas. Aggressive or anxious pets are best left at home. Let’s keep the event fun, safe, and fabulous for everyone—two-legged and four-legged alike!

Capstone Pride Block Party has right to remove pets or people that are not meeting the ever goals of connections and fun.

I acknowledge and agree that participating in the Pride Walk is a potentially hazardous activity and that I should take precautions if I have any accessibility concerns and to let the organizers know in advance to help assist.


I also acknowledge and agree that although traffic control will be provided there may be other people on the course route and accordingly I assume the risk of walking. I also assume any and all other risks associated with walking in the Pride Walk including, but not limited to, slips and falls, contact with other participants, the effects of the weather, including rain and high heat and the condition of the trails, all such risks being acknowledged and appreciated by me.


Acknowledging these facts, and in consideration of your accepting my entry, I hereby, for myself, my heirs, executors, administrators or anyone else who might claim on my behalf, covenant not to sue, and hereby waive, release and discharge the Capstone Pride Block Party. the committee, officials and volunteers working at the Capstone Pride Block Party and Event Sponsors, Event Timing, and its affiliated businesses and other participants in the race and all their respective agents, employees, officers, directors and assigns or anyone else acting for or on their behalf (collectively, the “Indemnities”), from and against any and all claims for death, personal injury or property damage of any kind or nature whatsoever arising out of, or in the course of my participation in this Walk.


This Release and Waiver extends to all claims of every kind or nature whatsoever, foreseen or unforeseen, nown or unknown. Applications for minors (those under 18 years of age) will be accepted only with the minor’s parent/guardian signature.


I hereby grant full permission to the Capstone Pride Block Party and its authorized agents, to use any photographs, video tapes, motion pictures, recordings, or any other record of this Walk and /or of me or my minor child as participant in this Walk, for any legitimate purpose.
