2025 CUMU Conference
October 26–29, 2025 | Baltimore, Maryland
So much has changed in higher education since the original call for proposals for the 2025 CUMU Conference. We want to hear from you about how you are addressing the emerging issues. To that end, we are issuing a special call for roundtable proposals for the 2025 conference focused on timely and emerging topics. Join us in Baltimore to present a roundtable session that focuses on rapidly evolving topics and current challenges.
The Roundtable session will take place on Wednesday, October 29, 10–11:15 a.m. These discussion-based sessions are designed to bring people together to explore challenges, share strategies, and spark new ideas around pressing issues. Attendees spend 25 minutes each at three different tables. Presenters at each table share their work and engage the presenters in conversation. This event is a highlight of the conference and an opportunity to connect with colleagues from across CUMU’s network.
For more information on the conference theme and tracks, please reference the original Call for Proposals.
Deadline: The submission form will close on Friday, September 12 at 5pm EST.
Submission: Submissions will be accepted through this form and reviewed on a rolling basis with expedited decisions until filled.
The submission form below includes all of the following:
1) Session Title (required) (Limit 12 words)
2) Track Category (required) Which track category best describes your session? We use these to organize the sessions by topic.
3) Session Abstract (required) (Limit 150 words)
Please provide a brief abstract of your roundtable session. A good abstract includes a clear statement of the challenge or topic that will be addressed and a summary of relevant context and content. This abstract will be included in the conference program, so it should be written for potential attendees. Do not include citations in the abstract.
4) Identify the ideal session participant’s incoming level of content knowledge as foundational, intermediate, and/or advanced, or any of the above. This may be listed in the conference program. (at least one required)
5) Presenters
The Lead Presenter is the main point of contact for the presentation, handles communications with CUMU staff, is the primary presenter speaking at the conference, and is listed first in the conference program. Additional presenters or contributors can be included as co-presenters (if they will be co-presenting the session) or contributors (if they will not be at the conference but should be listed in the program).
