Please join the Minnesota Fire Associations Coalition (MNFAC) and the Minnesota Professional Fire Fighters (MPFF) for the annual Fire Service Day at the Capitol on Wednesday, February 19, 2020. This is your opportunity to speak directly with your state legislators about the issues you face in fire service in Minnesota. We'll begin the day at the Minnesota Capitol (75 Rev Dr Martin Luther King Jr Boulevard., St Paul, MN 55155) in the Vault Room which is located in the basement of the Capitol building.
You are encouraged to wear a red fire service day at the capitol polo shirt if you have one. If not, please wear your department apparel/uniform.
We will reach out with information on where to send your registration payment. We are finalizing the cost but anticipate it will be around $10-$15. If you have any specific questions, please contact Angie Huss at

Once you register, the team at Lockridge Grindal Nauen will work to schedule appointments with your state representative and your state senator based on your home address and/or the city where your department is located. As February 19 gets closer, we'll provide you with more details about the agenda for that day.

Lot AA is a surface lot is a good option that’s about a block from the Capitol building.

Lot C is also an option – it’s just northwest of the Capitol
•
There is street parking along John Ireland Blvd. You need to download the “PassportParking” app to pay.

As a last resort, you can park at the Best Western Capitol Ridge for a fee (161 St Anthony Ave, St Paul, MN 55103)
Please give yourself ample time to find parking. If you park along John Ireland Blvd, you can take advantage of the Capitol complex tunnel system. Walk into the nearby Minnesota Department of Transportation building. Follow the tunnel on the ground floor to the Capitol, which will lead you to the Vault Room.
