24 Hour Youth Filmmaking Competition Sign-Up (2019)
This is the sign-up form for the 2019 Twin Cities Youth Filmmaking Competition. The event will be held over the course of two days: Friday, July 12th 12:00PM-6:00PM and Saturday, July 13th 9:00AM-12:30PM. The final screening is on Sat, July 13th at 6:00PM. Light snacks will be provided. FilmNorth will provide cameras, tripods, audio equipment, and editing software. If you would like to use your own camera, you can!

The location is at FilmNorth, 550 Vandalia St., suite 120. Student filmmakers must sign up in groups of 3-5 people, and at least one of the members must have experience with video production (camera/tripod use, and editing with Premiere Pro). Students must come both days. Students can film in and around the Vandalia Towers, SPNN, and, if students have a car, they may film at a location of their choosing if it is relatively close by.

If your group wants to prepare a loose storyline with some preliminary ideas, that is fine! All groups will receive a prop, line of dialogue, and genre to be included in the film.

There is one sign-up form for each group, so put everybody's names, contact info, age, and video production role into this one sign-up form. Permission slips will be emailed to each individual team member upon completion of sign-up, and must be printed then filled out individually, then scanned and emailed back to opeters@myfilmnorth.org, or returned to FilmNorth in person four days before July 12th.
